
- Learn new things – challenge your brain by learning a new skill or language.
- Play mind games – puzzles, guessing games, writing, challenging reading, lively conversation and debate.
- A wide variety of fruit and vegetables daily, with berries specially favoured.
- Exercise – include some vigorous activity to burn up the stress-produced chemical cortisol, as well as more gentle, calm-promoting pastimes like yoga, tai chi, contemplative walking.
- Look at nice things – art, nature, antiques, cars, whatever boosts your mood, drink it in regularly.
- Regular fish meals
- Become a southpaw, or vice-versa – regularly attempt activities favouring your weaker hand.
- Moderate regular quantities of nuts and seeds
- Balanced blood sugar – favour slow-releasing carbs, taken with lean protein at most meals
IMPORTANT
