Take a picture of yourself….

• in front of the mirror just after having managed to get out of bed
• after having groomed yourself to an acceptable standard
• while having your first meal/snack of the day
• on the way to work
• at your workplace
• at lunchtime at your usual dining place
• in your favorite hiding place at work (whether in the inspirational atmosphere of the company toilet or the nap inducing dark archives in the cellar)
• Big Extra: Make a picture of your closest ally and the company dragon (which could be you)
• while on the way home (this will be interesting to compare with the picture you took in the morning)
• in your comfy cosey “Ahh I’m at home” attire
• while having dinner
• during whatever activity you usually pursue during the evening
• in front of the mirror while brushing your teeth
• in bed, be it with your book (you bore) or with your partner (you cheeky devil)

Now the project mustn’t end here. With all those photos taken, what can you do with them?

Well you can send them to your friends, which then will be either relieved to see that they are not alone in their plight of following the daily rituals or upset that you spoiled their perfectly arranged Utopian workday with your grizzly pictures of a morning monster and an office dragon.

Have a serious thought about what needs to change in your life.

Have a look at them before going to your next job interview so you check out the good hiding places etc.

Present them to your future spouse for a reality check.

Send them in, I’m always nosy about how other people spend their everyday lives.
